On what was predicted to be one of the hottest days of the year, cadets gathered from the Wings in our Region to compete in track and field events. A lot of short notice plans were put in place to ensure the event could be held with the health and safety being considered for all attending. As it transpired, we had more cloud cover than expected so the heat wasn’t as intense as it could have been, and we even had a brief rain shower!

At the staff briefing, Squadron Leader Worsnop ensured we knew exactly what to do

Awards were presented to the cadets
