Part of the Diamond award requires participants to set themselves an extra challenge and raise a minimum of £60 for the scheme.
The award was created to help celebrate the Diamond Anniversary year of the D of E created by His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh to support youth throughout the Commonwealth. Participants taking part in the celebratory Diamond award will help to transform the lives of millions more young people; broaden horizons, introduce new skills, and encourage further education and employment.
Plt Off Walker wrote various works of poetry which were then published in an anthology. This raised £60.00 for the DofE, and also raised more money which was donated to Lincolnshire Air Ambulance.

CI Cowen accepted culinary challenges from friends and family and then asked people to donate what they thought the food was worth, raising £145.00.
