He is the senior cadet at 163 Squadron and leads by example in everything he does, a real role model for the Junior Cadet  Non Commissioned Officers and cadets. His enthusiasm is felt throughout the Squadron and he takes real pride in himself and the Squadron.
This is an honour and a well-deserved appointment forCdt FS David and 163 Squadron are very proud of him.
Cdt FS David was on duty very quickly with his first official engagement accompanying the Lord Mayor as he met the 75th Anniversary torch when it was flown into Coventry Airport on 7th August for the start of the Coventry leg of the torch relay.   He then accompanied him at Coventry Cathedral when the torch passed through the old and new Cathedrals before travelling to the War Memorial Park.
Cdt FS David said, “I am proud and having this honour in the 75th Anniversary year makes my appointment extra special”.
