Congratulations go to Jayne Morley and Matthew Mayers, Air Cadets of 2160 (Sleaford) Squadron who this month took up their appointments as Cadet Warrant Officers.
Both Jayne and Matthew recently underwent the rigorous interview process at the Headquarters of Trent Wing and were successful in their quest to become Cadet Warrant Officers, the highest rank attainable by a Royal Air Forces Air Cadet.
Jayne and Matthew are invaluable members of the squadron training team and provide excellent role models to the 2160’s junior cadets.
In their new positions they will have still further responsibility and an even greater share in the running of the squadron. We wish them every success over the coming months.
And the coincidence mentioned in the title, they were both born on the same day!
