Air Cadets Remember

In cities, towns and villages throughout the country, Royal Air Force Air Cadets have, with dignity and due respect, fully contributed to Nationwide Act of Remembrance.

Throughout the Central and East Region, squadrons of Air Cadets have supported the Royal British Legion and the Armed Forces in parades commemorating the Centenary of the signing of the Armistice ending the Great War.

Within many communities, the RAF Air Cadets, as the only uniformed presence, proudly represented our Armed Forces in the Act of Remembrance, laying their wreathes and, perhaps, thinking of their own family members affected by the many wars and conflicts over the last 100 years as they repeated “We will remember them”

The Air cadets have also assisted in the “Poppy Appeal” standing in the streets, shopping centres and supermarkets with Poppy Trays and collection tins adding to the millions of pounds raised each year by The Royal British Legion to help provide lifelong support for the Armed Forces community – serving men and women, veterans, and their families.
