The new Region Sports Officer presents S&E Mids Wg with their Trophy
Central and East Region of the Royal Air Force Air cadets are pleased to announce the appointment of Squadron Leader Michelle Worsnop RAFAC as the new Region Sports Officer.
Wing Commander Nathan Wilkes, on confirming the appointment said; “Squadron Leader Worsnop has accepted the role in addition to her current appointment – something she plans to continue for the foreseeable future – as the long standing Wing Sports Officer in Trent Wing , Michelle brings with her a vast experience of coordinating the RAFAC core sports at all levels of the organisation and a proven track of delivering exceptional results.
I have no doubt that all within the Region will all do whatever is necessary to help Sqn Ldr Worsnop regain our status as the premier sporting Region – your support, coupled with her drive and ambition, will no doubt see a full trophy cabinet back in the Region Headquarters in no time at all”
Michelle was immediately at the helm overseeing the Inter Wing Netball Championships and being on hand to present the South and East Midlands Wing Senior Girls Team with their winners’ trophy.
