Puma Flight for two Bedford Air Cadets

134

Cadet Sergeant Lennox and Cadet Corporal Baldwin had the good fortune to visit 230 (The Tiger) Squadron at RAF Benson for a flight in a Puma aircraft.

During this fantastic opportunity the crew of the helicopter perform several “auto rotations” (simulated engine failures).  The helicopter then flew on to the Defence College at Shrivenham.  Cadet Sergeant Lennox then navigated back to RAF Benson using the on board moving map system.

Both cadets had an amazing time and wish to thank the members of 230 Squadron for making them feel so welcome and giving them a day to remember.
