First Aid Success to Beds & Cambs

Yesterday saw Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire Wing compete in the Central & East Region First Aid competition held at 5F (Northampton) Squadron.bcw
The Young Adult Team of Flying Officer Jess Bradshaw of 2331 (St Ives) Squadron and Cadet Flight Sergeant Jordan Avery of 1406 (Spalding) Squadron won a hard fought competition.
The Youth team of Cadet Genovese, Cadet Corporal McGeown, Cadet Corporal Wait and Cadet Corporal Halfpenny all 1406 (Spalding) Squadron came a very close and commendable second in their event.
Due to the fantastic efforts of both teams, they all now go on to represent the Region at the National Air Training Corps First Aid competition to be held at RAF Cranwell in late October this year.
A huge thank you to Floght Lieutenant Haley Fisher for stepping in at the last minute to judge the individual event, and to Flying Officer Jess Bradshaw for joining the Young Adult team at very short notice and to Pilot Officer Chris Bone for being the support, administration and taxi service.
Good Luck to the Wing representative teams for Regional Field Day.
