The Band of the Royal Air Force College entertained an audience the King’s Lynn Corn Exchange on Tuesday 21st June with a concert of exceptional quality.
Organised by the King’s Lynn and District Branch of the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA), the concert was held to raise funds for the welfare work of the organisation.
As always, 42F (King’s Lynn) Squadron, Air Cadets, were on hand to meet and greet the concert goers and to sell programmes and encourage the purchase of raffle tickets the proceeds of which helped the events fundraising reach £4,000.
Unfortunately the venue was not filled to capacity, however, those present, including the Borough Mayor Councillor David Whitby and local MP Sir Henry Bellingham, thoroughly enjoyed a first half programme of “Music for Heroes” and after the interval music that was “A Tribute to Her Majesty”
