On Sunday March 20th 2016, cadets & Staff from 221 (Great Yarmouth) Squadron Air Training Corps braved the chilly weather to marshal a sponsored run in aid of Sport Relief.
The run was organised by Burgh Castle Parish Council who asked for the help of the Squadron at the event.
The cadets walked the course twice to familiarise themselves with the route walking a total of two miles.
Around 50 runners, of all ages, took part in the run and all the runners praised the cadets upon the finish line, saying what an excellent job they had done marshalling & handing out water & how impressed they were with the cadets.
All cadets & staff were also awarded Sport Relief medals by the organisers in way of thanks for a job well done.
