South and East Midlands Wing received recognition for one if its own when Squadron Leader Andy Pass RAFVR (T) was awarded an Air Officer Commanding 22 Group Commendation in the 2016 New Years Honours List.
It is one of only four awards to the Air Cadet Organisation(ACO) in this particular Honours List and is a fantastic recognition of his many years of high quality service and commitment to the ACO and South & East Midlands Wing in particular.
Wing Commander Nigel Dickinson OBE RAFVR (T) praised Andy saying; “This is a much deserved award and is great recognition for Andy of his valued commitment and work over the years. Andy has played a significant role in making the Wing what it is today and we are very proud of him.”
