Nearly 40 Air Cadets from across Norfolk & Suffolk Wing completed the Wing’s Residential Junior Non Commissioned Officers and Drill courses at RAF Barnham last weekend.

The aim of the course is to develop the cadet’s skills in leadership and communication along with increasing knowledge that is required for them to become effective in their roles in their Squadron, Wing and Corps activities.

Squadron Leader Castle said; “the cadets worked hard throughout the weekend and a large number showed huge potential for the future.  Seven cadets from across Norfolk and Suffolk Wing attended the residential Cadet Drill Course at RAF Barnham this weekend. The aim of the course is to develop senior cadets skills in the professional instruction of drill.”

The Wing Warrant Officer, Warrant Officer Bailey said; “the level of skill required to complete and pass this course is high, I was really impressed with the hard work and enthusiasm from the cadets.”
