Cadets from 2286
(Arden) squadron recently participated in the nationwide Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) sustainable recycling challenge, a task which saw them building a structure from recyclables.
The Squadron was awarded a Highly Commended Certificate and look forward to getting further next year. The Squadron has its own Conservation and Recycling project group which, amongst other things, is responsible for the Squadron’s Outdoor Classroom and bird feeding.
The Commanding Officer congratulated the cadets who had taken part in the challenge and thanked them for their hard work.
