Sunday 5th February was a busy day for the Air Cadets of Stapleford.1360 atcSunday171
To celebrate and honour another year of the Air Training Corps being formed in 1941, 1360 (Stapleford and Sandiacre) Squadron took to the neighbouring town of Long Eaton for a joint service at St Laurence’s Church with 2195 (Long Eaton) Squadron.
With a packed church of Air Cadets and members of the local community, Bishop Roger Jupp led the morning service. The sermon was delivered by the Assistant Curate, and Long eaton squadrons’ new Padre, father Giles Orton.
The Squadron were also represented by their banner party at the Town Mayor’s Civic Service held in Stapleford.
