Another high flying Cadet from 2070 (Glenfield) Squadron, South and East Midlands Wing ATC has recently flown solo after being awarded one of the Air Cadets National Flying Scholarships, awarded annually to only the most worthy of Cadets.
The highly sought after award has followed years of hard work and dedication, outstanding service and commitment. Corey received 12 hours flying tuition at Tayside Aviation in Dundee and was also fortunate enough to carry out his sorties in a Warrior. This is a huge achievement as only a few cadets have managed to fly in this aircraft. On completing the course he was able to complete his first solo flight. Well done!
