Six cadets from Long Eaton Air Cadets achieved a high-status classification: Senior Cadet and the prestigious Master Cadet.
Cadet Sergeants James Bland, Craig Harrison and Nicole Walker, along with Corporals Emi Ephraim and Stephen Taylor and Cadet Bradley Scriven were awarded with such a classification last Tuesday.
Senior Cadet is an well regarded achievement showing higher understanding of Aviation, Leadership and Radio. It is the second highest classification that a cadet can achieve and is one step away from Master Cadet. Furthermore, Corporal Ephraim has the opportunity to take a BTEC with the Air Cadets; is now qualified to do Method Of Instruction, having completed his Master Cadet.
Cadet Sergeant James Bland said “The time spent in lessons and revising has really paid off and left me with useful knowledge that I can take forward to my dream career of becoming a Royal Air Force pilot.”
