Well after a great day of competition, 141 (Boston) Air Cadets reign supreme in taking the 2015 Girls 5 A Side Competition trophy.
The competition is always well supported with our female footballers taking to the pitch in a fiercely fought competition.
A change of venue to RAF Digby from the usual pitches of RAFC Cranwell, made no difference to the competition. There was a great Atmosphere around the pitch from all the supporters and teams who turned out from across Trent Wing.
Some excellent sportsmanship was displayed, which after the knockout competitions saw the team, from 141 (Boston) Squadron, take a 1-0 lead over 331 Chesterfield in the final game of the day, with Cadet Sergeant Marci Robson squeezing the winning goal past 331’s keeper..

A huge thanks to all who took part in one of the wings most eagerly awaited competitions of the year, a great start to the sporting year!
