An early start for the Royal Air Force Air Cadets of 1360 (Stapleford & Sandiacre) Squadron, as under the care of Cadet Flight Sergeant Davies and Cadet Flight Sergeant Cox, they took to the local Iceland store with their Santa hats on!
The aim for the day was to aid the shoppers with their Christmas shopping, packing their bags and pushing their trolleys all to raise money for the squadron for future camps and courses.
With last minute shoppers the day is well and truly hectic, but the cadets of 1360 are taking it in their stride! The cadets will be bag packing at Iceland in Stapleford and Morrisons in Ilkeston all the way till Christmas Eve!
Cadet Kyle Davies (13) said “I am thoroughly enjoying the day, it was great to help out in the local community!”
