Cadet Sergeant Georgia Brinkley of (1109 Thetford) Squadron has recently spent a week in sunny Gibraltar at the Devil’s Tower Camp on an overseas Air Cadet experience.
The week was action packed with organisers ensuring the cadets get as much as they can out of the trip away. She took part in activities including section visits, World War II Tunnels, St Michael’s Cave, a dolphin safari, climbing’ The Rock’ and exercises with the No 2 Overseas (Gibraltar) Squadron plus much more!
Georgia also obtained the highest score on the camp in the DCCT shooting range, a great achievement. Sergeant Brinkley said ‘It was an amazing camp, I really enjoyed meeting up with cadets from all over Central and East Region as well as taking part in lots of unique experiences. I am now hoping to go on another overseas camp next year’.
