The Air Cadets at 1331 (Stowmarket) Squadron have been set an unusual task by their Commanding Officer, Flight Lieutenant Paula Houghton.!
To commemorate the Air Training Corps’ 75th Anniversary, she has asked the cadets to get their thinking caps on and come up with challenges that are achievable and must have something to do with the number 75.
Flight Lieutenant Houghton said; “the target for all of us is to raise £7,500”.
The cadets have a year to complete the challenges. Flight Lieutenant Houghton did not leave the challenge there, she has taken it a step further and has agreed to attempt to complete 75 challenges of the cadets choosing!
There could be some interesting times ahead for Miss Houghton, knowing the cheeky personalities amongst the squadron’s cadets!
She has, however, stipulated that as she is already committed to running a half marathon this year, she will not be accepting any running challenges!
