Wellingborough’s 378 (Mannock) Squadron Air Training Corps recently celebrated a successful recruiting campaign with an impressive enrolment parade for 20 new members of the unit.
The enthusiastic new recruits were joined by their family and friends who were invited to witness the ceremony, which took place at the Squadron’s Spring Gardens headquarters in Wellingborough. Once the enrolments and parade were completed, the inspecting Officer, Wing Commander Nigel Dickinson OBE RAFVR(T) welcomed the new cadets to the organisation.
Squadron Leader Mark Richards, 378 Squadron’s acting Commanding Officer, said: “The enrolment for our 20 new cadets marks the very beginning of their experience in the organisation.
“The ethos at 378 Squadron is one of fostering self-development and self-discipline as well as having great fun. We look forward to seeing our newest members take advantage of all the great opportunities ahead of them.”
