Determined to do their bit to help raise money for those less fortunate than themselves, the Air Cadets from 121 (Nuneaton) Squadron dressed up in all manner of funny costumes for their very own Children in Need Quiz Night.
Cadet Holly Odam and Paige Eaves who helped to organise the Nuneaton Air Cadet Fancy Dress Quiz Night, said, “The cadets were determined to do something for Children in Need and I think we all had a fantastic time as well as raising some much needed cash. Everybody entered into the spirit of the event, dressing up in some really ridiculous costumes and the Quiz definitely got some of the grey matter working hard”.
We managed to raise £47 on the night, we know it doesn’t sound very much in the grand scheme of things but every little helps and this is our way of showing that we care. You’ve only got to see some of those Children in Need television reports about the children suffering to realise that our £47 could provide something that would help to improve things for them.
As a massive added bonus to the money raised on the night, one of our former cadets has offered to match the amount raised by the cadets bringing our total to £94. We would subsequently take this opportunity to thank Delvin for his really outstanding show of support for our efforts to help Children in Need.
