Getting Ready to Go.
The winter chill invaded the unheated Old Workshops at RAF Halton where the Air Cadet Organisation (ACO) held their National Drill and Banner Drill Competitions.
The cold conditions did not affect the heat of competition as the Regions fought it out to be the best in the Organisation.
For Central and East Region, 1360 (Stapleford & Sandiacre) Squadron competed in both the Banner and Drill Competitions and certainly worked hard to impress the judges.
The Banner Team were rewarded with a superb second place whilst the Drill Squad came a creditable fourth. Although the Drill Team were extremely disappointed with the result they took comfort in the knowledge that they, as a squadron, are the fourth best Drill Team in the country.
